MEET ASH
Who:
My name is Ashleigh Gibson and I am a self proclaimed coffee addict, empath and hopeless romantic - who is partial to halloumi and smashed avo on toast. My husband Jono and I married in 2018 at The Henley Hotel in Cambridge- where we also moved that same year. In 2020 we were blessed with our first born Monty and also have a fur baby called Charlie. Although now based in the Waikato, I still view Auckland as ‘home’. Teaching dance and empowering students through the art form is my 9-5 Monday to Friday (although actually more like 7-10!). Outside of these hours and during the holidays is when I get to marry you!
What:
As a registered Independent Celebrant I’m here to help make your day memorable and to give ‘pause’ to the moment. I will walk alongside you during your planning process to ensure everything is as you desire (including all the legalities). Whilst my focus is currently weddings, please get in contact if there is another type of celebration you have in mind.
Why:
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata. I am a people person. I love interacting with and meeting people from all walks of life. The opportunity to share in one of your most special days fills me with absolute joy. In November 2018 (the best year yet), I married my best friend so I have been in your shoes and would love to be able to share some tips and tricks as well as collaborate with you to make sure your day is one you will never forget.
